Dr Hend Chatila is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is passionate about women's health.

With a focus on communication, Dr Chatila practices collaboratively, empowering you to make safe and informed decisions about your pregnancy and birth.

Skilled in managing both normal and complex pregnancies, Hend holds particular interest in birth after caesarean section, diabetes management in pregnancy, caring for women with pre-existing medical conditions and previous adverse pregnancy outcomes including birth trauma.

Hend grew up in Sydney where she completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy, Diploma of Hospital Pharmacy and Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery.

She then completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at hospitals across NSW and Canberra.

Hend holds a staff specialist position at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where she is active in the education and supervision of Obstetric & Gynaecology trainees.

Dr Chatila understands each pregnancy is a unique journey.

She will work with you to ensure your care is thorough, respectful and personalised.
