Dr Kiran Vanza is a distinguished female Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with a specialist interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and fertility. She is dedicated to providing compassionate evidence-based, patient-centred care which empowers women to make informed decisions about their health at all life stages.

Dr Vanza is committed to building a trusting relationship with her patients, tailoring treatment goals to meet individual needs ensuring a respectful, empathetic and holistic approach at all times. With a deep understanding of the sensitive nature of her field, Dr Vanza creates a safe and welcoming environment for her patients, ensuring they feel valued and understood. Through balancing her medical expertise and nurturing demeanour she strives for the best outcomes her patients whilst collaboratively working towards creating a unique pregnancy experience or managing a complex gynaecological issue.

History & Experience

After graduating with Honours from the University of New South Wales School of Medicine, Dr Vanza completed her FRANZCOG training at several premier tertiary hospitals across New South Wales gaining experience in high-risk obstetrics, gynaecology, research and education. She later undertook Fellowships in Gynaecology Ultrasound and a highly sought-after two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery through an AGES-accredited unit. At the forefront of current evidence and best practice medicine, Dr Vanza has additionally completed a Master of Medicine in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery and a Master of Reproductive Medicine.

Dr Vanza is actively involved in research and has authored and co-authored several published papers on a variety of topics and presented these at national and international conferences. She plays an instrumental role in teaching, simulation training and examining through RANZCOG, AGES and Western Sydney University.

Dr Vanza is consulting from Sydney Mother and Baby and holds admitting rights at The Mater Hospital (North Sydney) and North Shore Private Hospital (St Leonards).
